Glory Potential
Note from the artist Lana Shea: There is a lot of symbolism in this acrylic abstract painting:
The dark base of the painting - Our dark state without the living God. (Ephesians 5:8)
The flow of red - The access we have to God is to surrender to Jesus and his death on the cross for our sin. (Romans 5:8)
The green area - The growth that comes as God molds us each time we surrender to Him and His plan fully. (Colossians 1:28)
The dying blade of grass - The beauty of dying to our own ways to fully experience the glorious plan God has for us. (Romans 8:13)
The blue flow - God’s manifest presence which we may enter as we adore Him in praise and worship. (Psalm 100:4)
Flaming red and yellows - Our stepping into the awesome powerful Glory of God which we can experience now and even more fully in His heavenly kingdom. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
The golden strands within the painting - The ways our God intervenes throughout our life to help us obtain our full potential in His plan (Jeremiah 29:11)
In all these scriptures and the symbols in the painting, the overlying truth is that when we follow the Lord Jesus our life is full of amazing potential.
