Swimming Frog
Note from the artist Lana Shea: My grandson, Jordan, wanted me to paint turtles on the wall of his bedroom. We talked about what kind of turtles he wanted and that he wanted them to be swimming underwater. As I was painting, Jordan said, “I’d like a frog too.” He also wanted the frog to swim under water with the turtles. I think this little guy became the favorite character of the four.
Later Jordan moved to a different house but photos of the turtles and this little swimming frog was added as framed art in his new room. I think “Swimming Frog” is more fun because it is a view of a frog doing something different than the usually view of it hopping or sitting on a lily pad.
In Jeremiah 33:3 God says, “Call to me and I will tell you hidden things you do not know.” It is great to discover God’s plans and see things we do not already know.
