Crockpot Beef Stew

Put in bottom of crockpot:

2 potatoes (cut in chuncks)

1 bag baby carrots (washed)

1/2 onion (chopped)

1 teaspoon minced garlic

Sprinkle with salt and pepper

(optional other ingredients such as celery, fresh broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms.  

Avoid canned or frozen for best results.)


Coat meat with flower and put on top of the vegetables:

1 pound of stew beef

1/4 cup flour

1 cup water (or broth)

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Sprinkle again with salt and pepper


Set crockpot on high 5-6 hours or low for 10-12 hours
