Lasagna EZ

Brown (pour off grease)

1/2 pound lean ground beef (1 pound if you want it on each layer)

Set out

1 (24 oz) jar spaghetti sauce

1 (8 oz) container ricotta cheese (or use recipe to make own from 6 cups – 8 cups milk)

1 (8 oz) bag shredded mozzarella cheese

6 uncooked lasagna noodles

Lightly grease 11 x 7 baking dish (11x9 will work too)

Fit to the baking dish 2 sheets of aluminum foil and lay aside


24oz jar spaghetti sauce

Spread a small amount of sauce in baking dish to coat the bottom of dish

Layer with 3 noodles


Half sauce that’s left

Half pound browned meat (If using 1-pound reserve half meat for the next layer)

Half ricotta cheese

Half mozzarella cheese

Add 3 more noodles

Add rest of sauce and cheese (meat if 1 pound)

Slowly pour ¼ cup very hot water around inside edge of dish

Immediately cover baking dish with the 2 sheets of aluminum foil.

Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.

Then uncover and bake 10 more minutes.

Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
