Curious Squirrel
Note from the artist: The little squirrel in our backyard is always looking for new excitement. He jumps from tree limb to tree limb and does his best to figure out how to get bird seed from our “squirrel proof” bird feeder. It seems no matter how many times he tries to figure it out, he comes back to try a new way of winning over that bird feeder. Besides being a cute little guy, I admire his persistence.
This picture is “Mr. Curious” inspecting our eggplant growing near the bird feeder. There were no seeds or nuts for him to gather but he looked anyway. I think he just enjoys exploring.
God wants us to explore or look for Him. We can do that by listening at church, reading the Bible and by praying (which is just talking to Him.) We can ask Him to help us know Him better. I know he is very pleased to answer that prayer because of what He said in Jeremiah 29:13
"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart..”
